Annual Musical
Production.
Lowanna is well-known for a tradition of
musical productions. Rehearsals commence
in April with the production in July/August
of each year. The Musical is an extracurricular
activity, open to students from
all levels. It brings together a wide range
of school community members (parents, Students and staff). Many find these
performances to be the highlight of their
school career.
Student Participation
and Leadership
The College provides many opportunities
for student activity, involvement and
leadership. School Captains, Junior School
Captains and Middle School Captains are
elected to represent the students as well as
home group leaders and house captians.
School Camps
Year 7 students will have the opportunity
to go on a camp at the beginning of the
year. This camp enables students to get to
know their teachers and each other. Costs
are kept to a minimum and the school
encourages as many students as possible to
attend. Camps and major excursions are also available higher up the school. Year 8
students have the opportunity to go on a
camp to Melbourne and Middle School
students have access to an interstate trip.
